I Wish It Were Summer Year Round...

Kia Orana!

...apparently that's what the say in the Cook Islands, which became part of our mission this year. Unfortunatley, I don't think they're sending any sisters out there.

So this e-mail is gonna be quick, we had to deep clean this morning and we're going out to Bridal Veil Falls in like 20 minutes. Last week was pretty good, we had Zone Conference and talked about the importance of lesson plans, we all had to bring lesson plans to ZC for the first four lessons. We also are having a mission fast on Mar 4 for our goal of 2012 in 2012 and we're all starting the Book of Mormon on Mar 1 and reading it in 90 days and I'm excited we're doing things as a mission and I think it'll really help unify us, especially working towards this goal. At the Conference I had ANOTHER confirmation that this is definitelyw here I'm supposed to be right now in my life. I really do love this work, and it's kinda funny thinking back about before I put my papers in and some of the concerns I had, thankfully nothing held me back because this is where I'm supposed to be! I definitely feel like it's part of my duty and wonder why I had any concerns.

February wasn't fabulous, but Sister Clark and I have some really good sets for March. We found this guy trying to contact a referral. We got a referral for Domain Rd, I'm not even sure if there is a Domain rd (my comp looked it up on the map) but we figured it was supposed to be Dominion, much more common street, and so we went looking for 2 girls, came across this guy Josh and he was quite keen! We can't set him with a date for baptism because he has a court date on Mr 16 that might put him on probabtion, meaning he can't get baptized, but he is SO ready, I definitely believe that he can be cleared of everything so he can get baptized on Mar 17. We taught him the WoW this week on Thursday, and he is decreasing SO much faster than we anticipated. He had like 15 cups (or more) of coffee a day, and yesterday he didn't have any, he was smoking like 20-25 cigarettes a day, and I think yesterday he had 3 (mostly b/c that's what he found--he's out and doesn't have money...whatever works!) Anyway, he's loving it all & it's great hearing his prayers because he is always praying for others, that they'll be able to do the things the Lord asks of them and yeah, he's great.

Love you all! I'll send you pics next week of our hike last week and our trip today! Yay!

Love,
    Sister Mullen
